Summary

The Summary content type presents groups of statements where the student picks the correct one from each group, building a summary of the topic. The AI generates every group — statements, the single correct one, and optional hints — from the teacher's prompt.

AI-generated configuration

SettingDescriptionPossible valuesDefault
Number of statement groupsHow many groups of statements the summary contains.1 to 100 (hard cap: 100)2 to 12 when no amount is requested

Generated content

  • Several statements per group, with exactly one correct statement clearly identified in each group.
  • An optional hint per group when the teacher asks for one.
  • Feedback by score ranges, always generated.

Rules and behavior

  • Each group keeps a single correct statement; the correct one must be accurate and coherent with the topic (or with the uploaded document).
  • The score-range feedback is always generated, so it is worth reviewing even when the prompt does not mention it.
  • Requested exact group amounts are generated exactly as long as they stay within the hard cap of 100 groups (e.g. asking for 25 groups produces exactly 25).
  • As a scored activity, the result is reported to the Moodle gradebook.

Example prompts

Without syllabus

Several groups, each with a help hint and one correct statement to pick:

I need an H5P summary activity for the Veterinary course on the vital signs of dogs and cats: three sets of statements (temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate) where the student picks the correct one from each set, with a help hint in each one.

A single-group summary with only one correct statement:

Prepare a short H5P summary for the Veterinary course: a single set of statements about the canine vaccination protocol, where only one statement is correct.

With syllabus

A high exact amount of groups honored because it stays well below the hard cap of 100, drawn from unit 2 of the uploaded document:

Make me a really complete H5P summary on unit 2 of the syllabus I uploaded: twenty-five sets of statements, one for each key topic or concept of that unit, for an in-depth review.
