Image Sequencing
The Image Sequencing content type presents a set of shuffled image cards that the student must drag into the correct order. The AI generates every card — image and description — from the teacher's prompt and delivers them in the correct order of the process, so the viewer shuffles them on display.
AI-generated configuration
| Setting | Description | Possible values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Number of cards | How many cards the sequence contains, one per step or stage. | 3 or more (no hard cap; requested exact amounts are generated in full) | 3 to 6 when no amount is requested |
Generated content
- One generated image per card, illustrating its step or stage.
- One description per card, naming the step it represents.
- The cards are delivered to the package in the correct order of the process, so the viewer can shuffle them when displaying the activity.
Rules and behavior
- This type generates one image per card always, even when the Generate images option of the AI modal is disabled: its content depends indispensably on its images, so this is by-design behavior, not a failure.
- If the image of any card fails, the generation is retried instead of delivering an incomplete activity.
- Cards have no upper cap: a requested exact amount (e.g. twenty-five cards) is generated in full, without trimming, keeping a verifiable order from start to finish.
- The documented minimum is 3 cards.
Example prompts
Without syllabus
A basic sequence with five cards, one per named stage, each with its generated image and description:
I need an H5P image sequencing activity on winemaking for the Oenology course: harvest, destemming, fermentation, pressing, and bottling. The student must order the cards in the real order of the process.
A high exact count that must be generated in full, since cards have no cap:
Make me an H5P image sequencing with the twenty-five phases of assembling a bicycle, from opening the box to the final brake adjustment, one card per phase.
With syllabus
A minimal sequence of exactly three cards — the documented minimum — drawn strictly from unit 3 of the uploaded document:
I want a very short H5P image sequencing on unit 3 of the syllabus, with only the three main steps of the procedure that unit explains.
