Image Hotspots
The Image Hotspots content type places clickable markers over a generated infographic: each marker opens a popup explaining the element it points to. The AI generates the image, decides where each marker can be placed with confidence, and writes the popup content.

Generated content
- A generated infographic showing the subject with its parts visible.
- One clickable marker per element that can be placed with confidence, each opening a popup with:
- A title naming the element.
- An explanatory text coherent with the marked part — a developed explanation of two or three sentences when the teacher requests it.
When a syllabus or source document is uploaded, the markers and their explanations are drawn strictly from it, with terms, concepts, and wording traceable to the document and no invented material.
Rules and behavior
- The infographic is indispensable for this type: it is generated even when the "Generate images" toggle is off. This is by design, not a failure.
- Every marker position is verified against the generated image: markers are never placed over parts that are not visible.
- Elements that cannot be placed with confidence are discarded rather than mis-placed — the activity may be delivered with fewer markers than requested, but never with wrongly placed ones.
- The activity always keeps at least 2 valid markers.
- Markers keep a minimum separation between each other.
- There is no cap on markers: a requested count (e.g. 12) is generated in full, subject only to the confidence-based discarding above.
