Documentation Tool

The Documentation Tool content type builds a guided, multi-page form that walks students through documenting a piece of work — with optional goals and goal-assessment pages — and always ends with an export page to download the resulting document. It uses no generated images, so the Generate images option of the AI modal has no effect on it.

Generated content

• Standard pages, one per section, each with at least one text field with its title and instructions.
• A goals page where students define their goals, when the flow calls for it.
• A goals assessment page where students rate how far they got on each goal.
• A final export page — always generated — from which the student downloads the resulting document.

Rules and behavior

• The export page is mandatory: it is always present at the end, whatever the requested structure or page count.
• Goals-page conversion rule: if the prompt asks for a goals assessment but no goals page exists before it, the goals assessment page is converted into a standard page with its own text fields, and the tool remains valid.
• Input fields honor the requested sizing (number of lines) and required status (e.g. student data marked as mandatory).
• There is no page cap: an exact requested count (e.g. twenty-five pages) is generated exactly, without trimming, keeping the export page at the end.
• The type carries no generated images, so the Generate images option does not influence the result.
• With a syllabus or source document uploaded, page titles, instructions, and fields are anchored strictly to the document, with traceable terms and no invented sections.
