Find the Words

The Find the Words content type generates a word-search grid where the student finds hidden vocabulary terms. The AI generates the word list and the grid, with the vocabulary to find visible next to it.

Generated content

  • A set of single-term words (no spaces), all placeable and findable in the generated grid.
  • The visible vocabulary list beside the grid.

Rules and behavior

  • Words must be a single term without spaces: compound concepts are discarded or adapted, so asking for phrases will not produce phrases in the grid.
  • The type has no documented word cap, so a high exact amount (e.g. 30) is generated exactly, without trimming.
  • Every generated word must be findable in the grid and coherent with the requested topic.
  • The activity is scored, and the result integrates with the Moodle gradebook.
