Prerequisites

Who is this page for? Mainly site administrators.
If you are a teacher and something is not working (for example, some actions do not appear), this page helps you understand what is missing on the platform.

Smart Rules AI depends on Moodle components and additional plugins. If any prerequisite is missing or not working properly, some rules or actions may not run.

Prerequisites​

1) Moodle 4.5​

You must be running Moodle version 4.5.

2) Moodle cron running correctly​

Moodle must have cron configured and running correctly, because Smart Rules AI relies on scheduled tasks to evaluate conditions and execute actions.

3) “Restriction by user” plugin (required for specific actions)​

You must have the Moodle plugin Restriction by user installed.
This plugin is required to use the following actions:

  • Create AI activity
  • Enable activity

4) “Course Creator AI” plugin (required for one action)​

You must have the Moodle plugin Course Creator AI installed.
