Development settings

The Development settings page overrides the URLs of the DataCurso service that Course Creator AI connects to. These settings are intended for development or staging environments only.

Leave both settings empty in production to use the standard service.

Open the page​

  1. Log in to your Moodle site as an administrator and go to Site administration > Plugins > Local plugins > Course Creator AI > Development settings.
  2. Change the settings described below.
  3. Click Save changes.

When a setting is empty, the plugin uses the standard service.

URL validation​

Both settings only accept the following values:

  • An empty value.
  • A URL that starts with https://.
  • A URL that starts with http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1, optionally followed by a port and a path. This is only accepted while developer debugging is enabled, that is, when Debug messages is set to DEVELOPER: extra Moodle debug messages for developers in Site administration > Development > Debugging.

Any other value, including any other http:// URL, is rejected with this error and the setting is not saved:

The service URL must use HTTPS. Plain HTTP is only allowed for localhost or 127.0.0.1 while developer debugging is enabled.
