Prerequisites

Who is this for? Site administrators.
Teachers and students typically don’t need to do anything here.

Tutor AI depends on the Datacurso AI Provider. Tutor AI will not work until the provider is installed, licensed, and its webservice is configured.

Required​

1) Moodle version​

  • Moodle 4.5 or later

2) Datacurso AI Provider installed​

  • Install the Datacurso AI Provider plugin and complete its basic setup.

3) Datacurso AI Provider webservice configured (CRITICAL STEP)​

This is required for Tutor AI to connect to the provider.

How to configure it:

  1. Go to: Site administration → AI → AI Providers → Datacurso
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to create the webservice and generate the token.

http://your-moodle/ai/provider/datacurso/admin/webservice_config.php

4) Valid license key configured in Datacurso AI Provider​

  • Add/configure a valid license key in the Datacurso AI Provider settings.

Common error​

If you see:

error_webservice_not_configured

It means the Datacurso AI Provider webservice setup is missing or incomplete.
